My name is MaryHelen Soto. I'm an only child. My Mom raised me by herself. I love my mom. She is a strong woman with a big heart. Im really close to my whole Soto family. I would do anything and everything for them in a heart beat. They made me the person I am today. I have a lot of goals and I have achieved a lot of them already. One of the goals I'm working on right now is school. My major is Business Management. My objective is to help families who are on section 8 housing have a beautiful home that they can be proud of. I'm going to school for Business Management at Pima Community College. When I finish school and have the knowledge that I need to pursue this goal, I'm going start helping my community by buying houses and then putting them under section 8 housing. The government will pay me every month for the families to live there. I will have my own business in this field and I can start by getting grants from the government for opening my own business for the first time. Here in Tucson there aren't enough houses on section 8 housing for families. Most of the houses that are on section 8 housing are very run down and are located in bad neighborhoods. There is a seven year waiting list for new families to get a section 8 home. I want to give these families a beautiful home that they can be proud of.
